Meta keywords tag provides a list of words or phrases about the contents of the Web page. These are some additional text for crawler-based search engines.
A meta keywords tag is supposed to be a brief and summarizing list of the most important words of your page.
How to use Meta Keywords tag
Add the following meta tags in the HTML source of your webpage.

<meta name=”description” content=”Describe your page in less then 160 characters.” />
<meta name=”robots” content=”noodp” />
<meta name="keywords" content="keywords, keyword, keyword phrase, and so on">
Make sure you chose correct keywords to target audience. If a Web Crawler finds the same words on your website and in your meta tags, these words will be ranked higher in the search index.
Tips to use Meta Keywords tag
- Keep the tag to between 4 and 8 keywords or keyword phrases.
- To separate the different keywords and keyword phrases simply place a comma between the terms.
