The Indian Government is using Social Media as performance Metric of Indian Ministers now.
In a recent survey conducted by Prime Minister Office India, Indian Ministers were ranked on the basis of how quickly and efficiently they respond to people’s requests on Twitter.
Mr. Narendra Modi, who is extremely active on social media and became Third most popular Leader in world on Youtube and Twitter, is insisting to use social media a tool to reach out to more people and provide support to as much as possible.
And the topper of list is External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. The fact is, she is the most followed foreign minister in the world, according to Twiplomacy Study 2015.
She took her Twitter handle to new height, by tackling and responding to different issues. She helped many Indians in abroad like such as evacuating an Indian woman under house arrest in UAE, and rescuing stranded Indians in Yemen and Iraq.

Suresh Prabhu, Railway minister of India
Suresh Prabhu has changed the face of Indian Railways, well almost. People can use Twitter and ask for help and provide suggestions using the special Twitter Handle @RailminIndia. Ministry is using to help people with Medical issue, women who are feeling unsafe in their coaches, can tweet to this handle for help and ministry provides required security within few minutes.

Piyush Goyal, the minister of state for Power, Coal and New and renewable energy stands at number three.
On Number four, we have Culture and Tourism and Junior Civil Aviation minister Mahesh Sharma.
Jayant Sinha, the junior finance minister, has been ranked at five.
