Twitter ends support for TweetDeck App for windows, as announced on Thursday.

So if you are logged into or, you don’t have to login to TweetDeck separately. Now when you move between twitter and TweetDeck site, you will be logged in automatically.

Twitter announced that it will no longer support the TweetDeck app for Windows starting April 15.

“To better focus on enhancing your TweetDeck experience, we’ll no longer support a standalone Windows app.” Amy Zima, a Twitter product manager, wrote in the company blog post.

If you use Windows, you can still access TweetDeck through web browser.

TweetDeck was acquired by Twitter in 2011 and since then, Twitter has decreased the support for apps and increasing focus for presence on web. In 2013, company stopped support for TweetDeck, for Android, iPhone and Adobe Air desktop version.
