Twitter CEO denies timeline changes, responds to #RIPTwitter

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey denies any changes to timeline “next week”.

After the twitter flooded with #RIPTwitter tweets, Twitter seems to have changed his mind, either it was a rumour or they took a lesson from negative reaction from twitter users.

In either way, twitter has denied the news which says the twitter will be introducing timeline concept similar to Facebook.

Dorsey responds directly to the #RIPTwitter and confirms that they never planned timeline reorder mechanism.

“Hello Twitter! Regarding ‪#RIPTwitter: I want you all to know we’re always listening,” wrote Dorsey at the beginning of a rare tweetstorm. “We never planned to reorder timelines next week.”


He added that, “Twitter can help make connections in real-time based on dynamic interests and topics, rather than a static social/friend graph. We get it.Thank you all for your passion and trust. We will continue to work to earn it, and we will continue to listen, and talk!”
