Multilingual backlinks are not treated as spam, confirmed by Google’s John Mueller.
We know the importance of backlinks in SEO. Sometimes we reject a backlink just because it is in a different language. Or it could be a website from a different geo-location than ours.
So if you have a site that gets multiple links from China, Japan, Europe and other parts of the world, it is not always necessary that these links are spammy.
Google’s John Mueller said on Twitter that “the quality of links doesn’t depend on their nationality or the languages they speak.”
And the conversation continued.
Here is the Tweet by John.
